Tennis governing body, The International Tennis Federation (ITF) and Kosmos Tennis, organizers of the Davis Cup by Rakuten, along with the leading blockchain provider Chiliz, have announced plans to launch the official fan token of Davis Cup by Rakuten on Socios.com.
Fans around the world will have unprecedented access to the Davis Cup with the $DAVIS Fan Token. By taking part in interactive polls through the Socios.com app, holders of $DAVIS Fan Tokens will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of initiatives.
Fans can also challenge other fans in games, competitions, and quizzes, compete on global leader boards and earn real-life and digital awards, benefits, and experiences as they go.
The augmented reality feature ‘Token Hunt’, which is geo-located, will give fans access to exclusive content.
On November 4th, the Kosmos Sports Summit will release the $DAVIS Fan Token, which will bring together the sports business community.
A total of 18 teams will take part in the 2021 Rakuten Davis Cup Finals thanks to three European venues (Madrid, Innsbruck, and Milan). On December 3-5, Madrid will host the semi-finals and final of this tournament.
With Socios.com, more than 70 major sports organizations have partnered, including FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, AC Milan, Atlético Madrid, Manchester City, Inter Milan, Arsenal, as well as teams from Formula 1, esports, and cricket.
